I'm so glad you found us! We love to share our story of what the Lord is doing in and through our ministry in Kenya. If you are a reader, please click the link on the right-hand side and "Follow Along!" And stop back by anytime! Karibu sana!
Stay tuned for the future link to Cherished Handworks, our single mothers' outreach ministry. The mamas are trained in the skill of knitting or sewing and then provided with a job where they use that skill to earn a consistent income to provide for their families.
Products will be sold, beginning Summer or Fall of 2011.
The ladies are busy as usual. We are so blessed to be a part of their lives, and Cherished Handworks is truly offering them a new hope of a future.
Please pray with us that the Lord uses this in a mighty way over the next months as we set out to begin selling their handcraft in the United States. May the Lord bless and multiply the work of their hands.
Thanks, Charlie! We have LOVED your ideas and advise! The clips are GREAT! Adrienne, I had hoped to, but I am leaving for the states next Thursday. If you would like me to, I could probably leave some at Hampton and you can take a look. Just let me know.
Susan, that yarn was some that was here when you were! I had them use it for practice stuff and loved it! Even one of the obnoxious bright multicolored made an adorable little shawl!! Can't wait to show the new shawls and headbands! Too cute.
I am "Mommy" to one, "mama" to many. I am living my dream life...that I never even dreamed of. This is where I share the realities of this dream with loved ones far away as I strive to serve the Lord in this place where He has brought me.
His Cherished Ones, Inc is a 501c3, non-profit organization. Please consider making a donation today to support this ministry. It is only through you that we are able to give hope to those that need it most!
