Little Michelle, Kennedy's daughter, turned two on Dec. 31st. Celebrating her life this year is definitely a gift from the Lord! And beautiful Maggie, one of our baby caretakers, also had a birthday on New Year's Day!
So to celebrate, we had chicken & chips and birthday cake! I, of course, was all about the cake, but chicken & chips? Not so much.
Can we say, "A big bowl of grease?"
"Uhhhh, yeah!"
The babies loved the treat! Joseph is getting older and has learned to truly appreciate the joy of sugar! The younger babies actually enjoyed graham crackers with a little spread of icing and sprinkles, while the older ones had a real taste of cake.
Our year is off to a GREAT start! We hope yours is too! :-)
