Thanks, Terry!

We were blessed to have our friend, Terry, here with us for the past three weeks. Terry has a great heart for ministry and came to minister to and be a blessing to those of us who are here, on the ground, working with the ministry full time. 

While we love having people come to hold and love on babies, we SO greatly appreciate those who recognize some of the other needs of the ministry that may not be so apparent at first glance. Our staff is here, working hard every day, loving on the babies, teaching our little ones, helping our big boys in school, and mentoring our boys and our mamas. There is no doubt that our babies are loved. No doubt they see Jesus every day in the faces and actions of our caretakers. Our staff does a FABULOUS job of meeting, not only the physical needs of our babies, but also their emotional and spiritual needs.

What Terry recognizes is that it is important to meet those same needs in our staff so that they can effectively minister to our babies on a daily basis. These amazing young women and men are the ones who are living out our vision; here every day to share Jesus with our little ones, our boys and our mamas. 

Terry spent the past few weeks doing just that - loving the ones who continue to share that love. Our staff gathers for Bible study during their break/lunch time three days per week.  Terry did a great job of facilitating the Bible study and encouraging the staff through the Word. We desire to give our staff the tools they need to help them grow in the love and truths of God. Terry has been instrumental in the the past three weeks.
