Organizing!

Thank you to everyone who donated and sent clothes with Kris! We LOVED going through the bags of clothes. It is such a blessing to have such amazing friends who care enough to take care of our babies.

It took several days to go through the things that Kris brought and the clothes we had here. Kris and Jackie sorted them by size then we organized the ones for our four babies.

Now, we have to get out the bag that is nicely packed and labeled "Newborn Girls" and find a place in the closet for our new little baby!! Yes, we will a new little girl next Wednesday. She is 13 days old today. Her mother died when she was 5 days and her twin sister died a few days later while staying in a shelter. Obviously, the place the father took them was not a safe place. Yet, he was unable to take care of newborn twins while organizing for funeral arrangements. etc. She is now with her father and will remain there until Kris and I come back to Nairobi on Tuesday. We are working out an arrangement so that we can assist him with the baby so that he can work and prepare himself to take her back. So....we will receive our 5th baby - another girl! - next Wednesday.

Please pray for the father of our new baby as continues to make decisions.

Also, I would appreciate your prayers. I have strep throat and it is so very difficult to find time to rest!! Kris and I are planning to go to the coast of the Indian Ocean on Sunday for two days away. My whole plan is to REST - but I want to be well enough to enjoy it!
